Congratulations to Jane Kidd, who was elected the Georgia Democratic Party's next chair. By all accounts Jane is a fine person and a great Democrat. She's known to be a solid fund raiser, and can put up a fight when she needs to. She should be instrumental in getting women back into the Georgia Democratic fold. For the first time, it feels like we can finally put 2006 behind us.
